SMC

SMC SERIES- SubMinature version C Coaxial Connector
 
1. Developed in the 1960s. It has same interface dimension as SMB connector, but SMC has thread mating design.
 
2. SMC connectors are designed originally with female contact in male body or male contact in female body.
 
3. SMC connector especially is suitable for mobile applications with low VSWR.
 
4. They use a #10-32 UNF threaded interface (screw type) and are available in 50 Ω or 75 Ω impedances.
 
5. They offer excellent electrical performance from DC to 10 GHz.
